Past annual conferences

The SLSA has been running an annual conference since it was set up in 1990. Our conferences are central to our objective of the dissemination of knowledge in the field of socio-legal studies. The conference moves around the UK, hosted by a different academic institution every year. Below is a full list of the conference venues since our debut conference with links to the host law schools and archived conference websites where available.

Conferences 1990–2009

• Leicester 2009: our most recent conference was hosted by the Law School at De Montfort University, Leicester, and attracted many delegates from all over the world. The conference abstracts are available for download.
