Tonic Project cooks up a business breakfast

Tonic: the Creative Business Project will be holding its latest business networking event at the Medway campus on Tuesday, 9 December.

The business breakfast takes place at the University's Rochester Building between 7.45am and 8.45am. A full breakfast will be served and there will be the opportunity to network with business people from across the region.

Paul Gambrill, a lecturer for the Creative Events: Design and Production degree programme, will be speaking on the benefits of using creativity to boost the bottom line in business. The event is free and includes refreshments.

The Tonic: Creative Business Project is an innovative programme of free courses, run in partnership between the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) and the universities of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church.

The scheme offers students a wide choice of modules, with successful completion granting students credits towards a university degree. It places an emphasis on teaching both business and creative skills.

Tonic is organising a networking event each month, aimed both at students and businesses in the county.
