The University of Kent will hold a Postgraduate Open Evening on Monday 1 December at Darwin College Conference Suite on its Canterbury campus.
The event, which runs from 5-8pm, will provide prospective students with an opportunity to learn about funding, scholarships and the range of full- and part-time programmes in over 200 areas of study at Canterbury and Medway. Everyone is welcome and there is no need to book in advance.
Throughout the evening, University staff from each department and postgraduate student representatives will be on hand to answer questions and enquiries. There will also be a series of talks by academic departments as well as an opportunity to tour the campus and visit Woolf College, the University's new multimillion-pound college dedicated to the support of postgraduate activity.
Professor Diane Houston, Dean of the University's Graduate School, said: 'This is Kent's first dedicated postgraduate open evening and signifies the increasing importance of graduate education for students and universities. This year, Kent has established a Graduate School and is working to enhance the academic progress and student experience of all postgraduates who study and research here.'
The University of Kent delivers both taught and research postgraduate qualifications from MA/MSc to PhD level, as well as being a highly regarded provider of executive education, including the MBA.
