Students continue to rate Kent among the UK's top ten

Students have once again voted the University of Kent among the UK's top ten universities. Figures from this year's National Student Survey (NSS) also show that, for the second year running, Kent is the top university in London and the south-east. In addition, the survey reveals that 90% of final year full-time undergraduates at Kent are satisfied with the quality of their courses. Other universities in the top ten include Oxford, Cambridge, St Andrews and Exeter.

Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor David Nightingale said, 'Once again, the results of the National Student Survey show our students rank us among the best in the UK. The feedback shows that, more than ever, they feel they have made the right choice in coming to Kent.'

This year has seen a national increase in the number of students responding to the NSS. Nearly 220,000 students completed the 2008 survey. This annual survey is organised by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) in partnership with the government and the National Union of Students.
