University gears up for ArtsFest 2008
The University of Kent is once again gearing-up for its spectacular annual ArtsFest on Saturday 7 June on the Canterbury campus.
Open-air stages around the central campus will showcase all types of music and entertainment performed by University societies, schools and the community. This will feature everything from jugglers to jazz, from gospel to grunge, all free of charge. A wide choice of food, including noodles, curries and of course the traditional BBQ will be available. Ice-creams, candy-floss and popcorn will keep children happy, as will the green open spaces! A fully-staffed refreshments tent will also be available for beer and soft drinks.
The event begins at 2pm and ends at 10.15pm with a stunning firework display overlooking the floodlit Cathedral.
