Professor Malcolm Andrews will give a Dickens reading at the University of Kent's Canterbury campus on Tuesday 25 November.
The reading from Charles Dickens' The Story of Little Dombey will take place at 5.30pm in the Peter Brown Room, Missing Link, Darwin College. The event is free and open to all. There is disabled access to Darwin College and the seminar room.
Malcolm Andrews is Professor of Victorian and Visual Studies at the University and runs the School of English's MA programme 'Charles Dickens and Victorian Culture'.
He is Editor of The Dickensian and an author of a number of books on Dickens, including: Dickens on England and the English and Charles Dickens and His Performing Selves: Dickens and the Public Readings.
The reading has been organised by Patricia Debney, Canterbury Laureate and Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University's School of English.
