Perdika Poets reading at the University
Perdika Poets Peter Brennan, Michael Grant, Mario Petrucci and Nick Potamitis will give a reading at the University of Kent on Tuesday 21 October.
The reading, will take place at 5.30pm in the Peter Brown Room, Missing Link, Darwin College, on the University's Canterbury campus. There is disabled access to Darwin College and the seminar room. The event is free and open to all.
Perdika Press presents editions of original and translated works by contemporary poets. The distinctiveness of each collection is complemented by a commitment to scrupulous innovation and a refashioning of language of and for its time.
The reading has been organised by Patricia Debney, Canterbury Laureate and Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University's School of English.
She says: 'We are delighted to welcome the prestigious Perdika Poets. Their work is amongst the most exciting and interesting in contemporary poetry at the moment, and this is a great opportunity to hear their voices.'
