The University of Kent, Canterbury, Kent, CT2 7NZ, T +44 (0)1227 764000

The vision, talent and creativity of some of the finest new architects and interior designers in the UK will go on display at the Kent School of Architecture on the University of Kent's Canterbury campus from Wednesday 17 to Saturday 20 June.
Titled EXIT-09, this end-of-year show is free and open to all from 5pm-9pm on Wednesday 17 and 9am-5pm on Thursday 18 to Saturday 20. There will also be an opportunity to view part of the exhibition during the University's ArtsFest on Saturday 13 June. EXIT-09 takes place in the design studios of the Marlowe Building. A student-designed tower signals its location at the heart of the campus.
Expanding on last year's popular show, EXIT-09 will showcase models, drawings, photographs, films, animations and installations from the BA (Hons) Part 1 graduates, as well as graduates from the graduate MArch Part 2 programme, the BA (Hons) Interior Design and BA (Hons) Interior Architecture programmes. It will also provide visitors with the opportunity to see a wide range of imaginative, intriguing and thought-provoking responses to many difficult and challenging problems.
Professor Don Gray, Head of Kent School of Architecture, said: 'This is a wonderful opportunity to see the work of this year's graduating students. The bravest of them were prepared to experiment and take risks, and in so doing they challenged accepted conventions. They have provided a thrilling glimpse into the future by exploiting the potency of design using models, drawings and digital media of the highest quality.'
