David Willetts MP to discuss 'The Future of Higher Education' at the University

David Willetts MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities & Skills, will be giving an open lecture at the University of Kent on Wednesday 12 November.

Titled The Future of Higher Education, David Willetts' lecture will take place at 6pm in Keynes College Lecture Theatre 1, on the University's Canterbury campus. The lecture is free and open to all. There is disabled access to Keynes College and the lecture theatre.

David Willetts has worked at HM Treasury, the Number 10 Policy Unit, the Centre for Policy Studies and has served as Paymaster General. He has also previously served as the Shadow Secretary of State for Education & Employment, Work & Pensions, Trade & Industry, and Education & Skills.

David Willetts is the Member of Parliament for Havant, and in addition to his role as Shadow Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities & Skills, he is a Governor of the Ditchley Foundation, Visiting Professor at the Cass Business School and a member of both the Council of the Institute for Fiscal Studies and the Global Aging Commission.
