University concert and big bands set to swing
The University's Concert and Big Bands will once again be raising the roof at their annual Gulbenkian Theatre concert this Friday (10 February) at 7.30pm.
Conductor Ian Swatman has cooked up a musical feast for this foot-tapping event, featuring selections from Wicked the musical and classic Duke Ellington and big band swing.
Second-year music scholar and jazz singer Ruby Mutlow is the show's star vocalist, while student vocal groups will also be providing entertainment in the Café Bar before the concert.
