Second student-organised show presented a wide range of architecture work to the public.

Flooding, pollution, community, regeneration and infrastructure were among the challenges and themes explored in the Kent School of Architecture (KSA) End of Year Show 2014.

This annual celebration of graduate work, presented through drawings, models, photography and research, took place from 23 to 27 June in the design studios of the Marlowe Building on the Canterbury campus.

International architect Sir Terry Farrell CBE, who has practices in London, Hong Kong and Shanghai, launched the Show.

This year’s Show was the second to have been completely organised and designed by KSA graduates. It involved students from all stages – foundation and first year through to MArch, Postgraduate and PhD – an initiative which reinforced the School’s commitment to its ‘vertical teaching’ system.

More than 200 examples of work went on display throughout the Marlowe Building. The catalogue to the Show, authored, designed, published and printed by KSA students, was on sale at the opening event.
