Dr Rosie Wyles from the Department of Classical & Archaeological Studies will be discussing Greek tragedy at Cheltenham Literature Festival.

Greek tragedies such as Medea, Electra and Antigone are popular with West End audiences and their power and relevance has never been greater.

Rosie Wyles along with Edith Hall, and author Tom Holland, join Natalie Haynes on Friday 10 October for a discussion of the blood-soaked, fate-driven world of ancient Greek drama and its enduring appeal.

Full details of the event and how to book are available on the Cheltenham Festivals website.
