Dr Heather Ferguson will give a free talk at the Jolly Sailor pub in Canterbury on 5 March.

Dr Ferguson, a Reader in Psychology, will discuss how the human brain develops in the teenage years, what influences these changes, and how this shapes how we instinctively learn to interact with others in everyday situations.

The talk is the latest in the pubTALK series, which sees academics take their research into the community and present it in an informal and engaging manner to the public.

The event begins at 7pm for a 7.30pm start and will include a Q&A at the end. The address of the Jolly Sailor is 75 Northgate, Canterbury CT1 1BA.
