A new study, co-authored by Dr Noreen von Cramon-Taubadel from the School of Anthropology and Conservation, is challenging previous views of the origins of farming in Europe. 'Craniometric data support a mosaic model of demic and cultural Neolithic diffusion to outlying regions of Europe' (Dr Noreen von Cramon-Taubadel, University of Kent; Dr Ron Pinhasi, University College Cork) can be viewed on the Proceedings of the Royal Society B website.
