How do you know if you have a drinking problem?
Sometime people feel their drinking is getting out of control. Signs that you might need help are finding you need to drink more for the same effect, a need to drink first thing in the morning, or others suggesting you may have a drinking problem. If you are someone who drinks heavily most days and get regular hangovers, it might be a good idea to seek advice on cutting down.
Don't worry, help is well at hand.
The University Medical Centre and the University Nursing Service (Keynes College) offers a confidential service to all clients. Our GP's and nurses are happy to discuss any concerns with you and can refer you to specialist help within or outside the practice if needed - we also have an in-house addiction counsellor to whom you can self-refer.
