Welcome to the Mediation Service
The University of Kent is working with mediation experts Total Conflict Management (TCM) Group, to develop an effective in-house Mediation Service to provide an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process to all employees, complementing the University's formal arrangements for dealing with conflict.
Over the next few months we will update this site to show the development of the service, as well as provide information on how you can access mediation. The Service will go live in spring 2012.
We will shortly be looking to recruit a team of impartial volunteer mediators from across the University, and will be looking for employees to submit an Expression of Interest in becoming a mediator through a fully accredited Open College Network (OCN) training programme. Our team of mediators will be from all backgrounds to have a broad cross section of employees to fairly represent departments and the structure of the University.
