Learning support

The Student Learning Advisory Service (SLAS) is a free, friendly advice service providing guidance and information on all aspects of effective learning and study skills to all students from the minute they arrive at the University until they finish their studies. SLAS is part of the Unit for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching and is a popular resource for undergraduates, postgraduates, full-time, parttime, mature, European and international students.

Individual and confidential advice and study guidance

Any student, or small group of students, who wish to improve their learning can make an appointment with a learning adviser who will offer guidance and support. If a student is unable to get to a University campus, they can arrange a telephone appointment or email the Student Learning Advisory Service at learning@kent.ac.uk.
