Information for libraries requesting items from the Templeman Library

The University of Kent Document Delivery Service (Canterbury Campus) will accept requests for photocopies or loans from other libraries. Individuals should contact the library of their home institution or local public library to ask about obtaining material through Document Delivery or Interlibrary Loan.

United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland

Photocopy requests must comply with current copyright regulations and be of a non-commercial nature. (Commercial copies should be obtained from the British Library Document Supply Centre). If your location information is from SUNCAT, please check our Library catalogue for specific holding information before applying.

Categories of material not available for loan:

• Core Text Collection items (including videos and DVDs)
• any Main Collection material in high demand
• reference
• Special Collections material
• whole volumes or issues of journals
• Phd theses: apply to EThOS

Charges for this service are in line with current British Library charges and will be claimed through your British Library Account. Please apply giving your British Library Account number and quoting a request reference.

Institutions outside the UK and Republic of Ireland

Photocopy requests must comply with current UK copyright regulations and be of a non-commercial nature (as above).

• reference
• Special Collections material
• whole volumes or issues of journals
• PhD theses: apply to EThOS
• dissertations (it may be possible to make a copy where appropriate)

Payment by IFLA voucher is preferred. Quotation upon application.
