Store request service
Useful links
- Library catalogue
- Inter-site loan requests for items from other University of Kent libraries
- Document delivery service for items not held at Kent
For space or conservation reasons, material that is infrequently used, rare, and some material that is available in e-format, is held in Library stores:
- Store (Templeman basement)
- Remote Store (off-site)
- Special Collections Store (Templeman basement)
The Library catalogue will show which items are held in a store; please submit a request to access them. You can request material in advance - specify the date you need the item.
Some material (eg theses and Special Collections items) is only available for reference access and cannot be borrowed.
Store and Remote Store requests
Requests can be made online via the Library catalogue by clicking the Online request form for this item link in the item record (University of Kent username and password required). Paper request forms are available from the Loan Desk and the IT & Library Support Desk.
