You can find individual e-book titles on the Library catalogue (except titles within the EEBO and ECCO collections). To restrict your search, use Advanced Search and set the Collections drop-down to 'E-books', or you can refine your search results using the filters menu on the right.

The following e-book services may be of interest:

  • Oxford Scholarship online: over 1400 current books (the economics and finance, law, philosophy, political science, and religion modules) from OUP
  • Cambridge Companions Online: includes access to Cambridge Companions to Philosophy, Religion and Culture
  • Cambridge Histories Online: over 300 cross-searchable authoritative volumes on a wide range of historical subject areas, including Religious Studies
  • Translated Texts for Historians (from Liverpool University Press): expert scholarly translations of historical sources from 300–800 AD, including letters, annals, political speeches, handbooks, poems, documentary sources, Lives of saints, and many more
  • Twentieth Century Religious Thought, Volume I: Christianity (from Alexander Street Press) - on extended trial until 30 June 2014: cross-searchable online collection that brings together the seminal works and archival materials related to key worldwide religious thinkers, from the early 1900s until the turn of the 21st century
