Reference Management Software: Software that enables you to build a personal library of bibliographic records. Records can be downloaded from database searches, and the software used to insert selected references into Word documents (e.g. essays). The software will correctly format citations and the bibliography according to a chosen style. Two packages are available for use at the university:

  • EndNote Support Page - stand-alone reference management software installed on all University public PCs
  • RefWorks Support Page - web-based reference management software - useful for wireless networking and working off-campus
