Official publications
European Documentation Centre
The University of Kent is one of a number of European Documentation Centres set up by the European Commission to support study, teaching and research at university level.
The collection
The European Documentation Centre (EDC) is located in the Templeman Library on Level 3 West.
The EDC receives publications and documents from the European Union. They are housed as a separate collection within the Library. EDC publications can be found using the Library catalogue. All publications within the collection have 'European Documentation Centre' added to the classmark.
Alternatively you can access all EU publications from the EU Bookshop Digital Library
Information service
The University of Kent EDC provides an information service as part of the European Union system of public information relays. You can access the collection during the Library's opening hours. We accept enquiries by email, letter or telephone.
