Special Collections and Archives, located in the Templeman Library, houses archival, manuscript, photographic, graphic art, rare books collections, microforms, maps and images relating especially to cartoons and caricature, theatre, wind and water-mills, literature, politics, the history of science and Kent local history.
We seek to preserve and provide access to a wide range of primary resource materials in their original formats to support researchers both within the University of Kent and worldwide.

The Cathedral Library has a close partnership with the University's Special Collections and Archives. Its collections, which date back to the 15th century, are included in our Library catalogue
