The Templeman Scholarship

The Templeman Scholarship will support a Kent graduate to undertake a full-time taught postgraduate degree at the University of Kent. Further information is available here.

Kent Law School Taught Masters Overseas Scholarships

We have a limited number of scholarships available which covers full tuition fees payable by overseas students on taught masters degree programmes.

Kent Law School Taught Masters Home/EU Bursaries

We have a limited number of bursaries of £1,000 available to non-Kent graduates on the taught masters degree programmes who are liable to pay Home/EU students' fees.

Kent Law School Research Studentships

We normally have available funded PhD research studentships. The postholders are expected to teach up to a maximum of four hours per week in term time on an undergraduate law module. They have their fees paid (at the home fee rate), and get a maintenance grant.

ESRC Scholarships

The University of Kent is proud to be part of the South-East ESRC Doctoral Training Centre (DTC) in partnership with the Universities of Reading, Royal Holloway and Surrey. This centre of excellence in social science postgraduate research training has studentships across the consortium for students commencing their studies in the 2012/13 academic year.

The Larry Grant Scholarship

A scholarship in memory of former Kent Law Clinic Legal Director Larry Grant, providing up to £1,500 and tuition fees paid at the UK/EU rate for successful scholarship applicants who wish to carry out research in the areas of clinical legal education, human rights or immigration.

Kent's 50th Anniversary PhD Studentships

Additional PhD Studentships have been made available in celebration of the University's 50th anniversary. Postholders may be expected to teach on an undergraduate law module. They have their tution fees paid and receive a maintenance grant.
