Critical perspectives research led teaching
All postgraduate students who wish to live in University accommodation are allocated a single room for the first year. This is provided that you have accepted the offer of a place, satisfied all the conditions of that offer, and applied via the on-line application process by 31 July of the year of entry (subject to availability).
Accommodation is arranged in clusters of flats in the newly built Virginia Woolf Postgraduate College. The accommodation provides the latest in student comfort and amenities, with all bedrooms having their own shower and toilet. The College is at the centre of the University campus and has its own social facilities and launderette. Each room is networked to the University’s main computer system.
Typically the accommodation is arranged in flats, with 6 or 8 students sharing a fully equipped kitchen. There are also some self-contained studio flats, which have their own cooking facilities.
