KEEP policy group
The KEEP project has established a Policy Group in order to ensure
that the lessons learnt from the partnership are effectively publicised
to key policy makers at a local, regional, national and European
level. Members of this group include Kent County Council Social
Services as the lead partner for the KEEP project, together with
local representatives from Careers Management, the Learning and
Skills Council (LSC), South East England Development Agency (SEEDA),
Job Centre Plus, Kent Guidance Consortium, and the Government Office
for the South East Region (GOSE).
A copy of the Strategy and Action Plan for the KEEP Policy Group
is available in the documents
and resources section of this site.
Activities
The policy group, in consultation with KEEP partners has produced
a key messages paper outlining the key learning points and achievements
of KEEP during Action 2 (May 2002-04),as well as suggestions for
and examples of mainstreaming outcomes during Action 3 (August 2003-
November 2005). A copy of the paper can be downloaded from the documents
and resources page.
KEEP has produced a policy leaflet with key messages for policy
makers and case studies of examples of some of the more than 600
people that KEEP has helped since May 2002. For a copy of the leaflet,
please visit our documents
and resources page.
On 2nd October 2003, a joint seminar was held with other Equal
