Background
Action 3 was a separate phase of the KEEP project known as KEEP
ON. Action 3 is designed to publicise the achievements of the partnership
through networking, dissemination and mainstreaming activities.
In other words, the successes of the KEEP project were publicised
to both policy makers and practitioners at a local, regional, national
and European level.
The KEEP project secured a further £240,000 of funding from
the Equal programme for a series of activities to take place between
August 2003 and November 2005. This was matched by a contribution
from KEEP ON partners of a further £240,000.
Activities
Action 3 activities began in earnest in October 2003, with the
production of new policy leaflet and a seminar with other Equal
projects in Brussels to members of the European Commission and others
involved in the planning of the next round of the Equal programme.
To view details of future activities, you can visit the events
and activities page.
The KEEP ON application form and workplan contains details of all
of the proposed activities of partners. For a copy of the application
form and related Action 3 documents, please visit the documents
and resources section of this site.
Partners
KEEP ON partners were essentially the same as the existing partners
during Action 2 of KEEP. However, during this phase of the project,
KEEP ON will be working closely with other Equal projects across
the UK and external organisations such as JobCentre Plus, Careers
Management and SEEDA.
