Am I targeting the right market segments? Does my packaging convey the right message for my target segment? Am I pricing the product appropriately? Will my product be a passing fad or a future cash cow? Is it a consistent seller or a festive treat?
What else are shoppers buying with my products?
Can I combine my products with something else they would like? Can I think of attractive joint promotional offers?
What newspapers and magazines do they buy with my product?
Where should I spend my money on advertising?
Where do my shoppers live?
Where will I target mail shots and save time and money in the process?
Are my products being sold in the right place?
Do I have the right geographical location? Or the right channel(s) – direct to consumers, on-line, through local markets or farm shops, or distributed through other outlets, such as convenience stores or supermarkets?
