Kent Business School

Making connections/ Exchanging experiences

Kent Business School has a growing network of alumni around the world

We are currently in contact with over 800 graduates who receive our newsletters and who stay in touch to let us know how their careers are developing. This is in addition to the many Kent alumni with degrees in non-business backgrounds who are now working in business. This number is growing rapidly as news about the new developments at the School spread and many alumni who had lost touch are starting to contact us and are excited about participating in our activities.

Help us to identify potential Kent students

Please let us know if you'd like us to send anyone more information about any particular programme.

Be an Ambassador!

This could range from sending us your profile or comments to include on this website or in our brochures to offering to talk to potential candidates about your experience at Kent.

Participate in our surveys and make suggestions about what kind of activities you would like to participate in to keep you up to date with the latest business news.

The reputation of the School and how your degree is valued by potential recruiters or business partners is increasingly dependent on the success of our alumni.

By keeping us informed of where you are working and how we can contact you, we will be able to ask you for information that will help us keep our AMBA accreditation and raise the profile of the Business School.

Kent Business School alumni play a major role in adding value to the School by supporting us in many different ways.

If you would like to come back to visit the school and talk to our students we hold informal lunchtime talks with students so they can hear about your experiences and career progression since you left Kent Business School. This is incredibly helpful and inspiring to students.

Kent has an excellent reputation for "highly employable" graduates.  This is partly due to how how programmes are designed and taught and to the fact that many have had access to work experience through work placements at undergraduate level or through the Business Report at postgraduate level.

Kent Business School would be glad to establish a relationship with your company and can even provide advice for setting up a Graduate Training Programme.

We have many awards and prizes for our students during or at the end of their course, these range from small prizes from as little as £100 up to larger prizes or even internships, these are persented at the end of the academic year at a special prize giving lunch event.

Scholarships are becoing increasing important for all students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The university and school do offer some financial help, but there are many more students that need more support, they otherwise cannot afford to come to university.

Scholarships can be small with assistance with books or accommodation to full tuition, in some cases the person or campany that award these scholarships can act as a mentor to the student and build a lifelong rewarding relationship for both.
