The interview process

We strive to give all candidates at least 2 weeks notice of an interview. All interviews are conducted by a panel who have received training in the University's recruitment and selection procedures which includes guidance on ensuring all candidates are given equality of opportunity during the interview process.

Depending on the job you have applied for you may also be asked to give a presentation or to undertake certain work-related tests so that we can gain a better understanding of relevant skills. If this is applicable details will be provided in the email we send inviting you to interview.

After the interview you will contacted as soon as possible to inform you whether or not you have been successful. It is also our practice to provide interview feedback on request.

All reasonable expenses which you incur in attending for interview will be reimbursed. An expenses claim form is available (Excel 25KB).
