Internet and WiFi
To get online and access Kent resources, you need to connect to the Kent network.
On campus
You can use a student PC, or connect your own computer/device to the Kent network. Your Kent IT account needs to be up and running. Advice for visitors
Set up your own computer/device
Configure your wireless or wired connection:
- Mobile devices WiFi
- Laptops/PCs WiFi
- Study bedrooms (Canterbury): a wired connection is available for laptops, PCs and games consoles (Canterbury bedrooms only)
- About WiFi at Kent: the eduroam service
- Do you download files using peer to peer software?
Off campus
When off campus you can link into the Kent network using the VPN service.
