A Kent IT account provides access to IT resources and services including staff or student email.
Using IT services
Students: about your IT account
Your Kent IT account is the gateway to accessing IT and Library services at Kent: you need it to get in to your Kent email, choose your modules, check your timetable, get online on campus and use the Library.
You now have a file storage folder on the network, to save your work in a secure place. You can access your files from a student PC or your own computer.
Your account is for your use only: do not allow anyone else to access Kent facilities using your account details.
About your username
Your username is your unique login name, comprised of your initials sometimes followed by a number, eg: abc1. If you have a problem logging in to a service, check that you are entering your username in the correct format
