Salmon Fishing In Yemen (12a)
Ewan MacGregor (Trainspotting, Beginners), Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada) and Kristin Scott-Thomas (Nowhere Boy) star in this enchanting drama from director Lasse Hallström (What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?, Chocolat) about a Scottish fisheries scientist (McGregor) who finds himself reluctantly involved in a very dubious project: to bring salmon fishing to the dry riverbeds in hot, dusty Yemen, aided by management consultant Harriet (Blunt).
What starts out as a ludicrous enterprise gradually proves to be a life-changing experience for all concerned.
