Classics@Kent presents the twisted tale of a rescue mission packed with slapstick, innuendo and parody. The women of ancient Athens are plotting revenge against the playwright Euripides.
His attempts to unravel and foil their plan results in a pastiche of chaos and mayhem in true Aristophanic Style. Join us an hour before Thesmophoriazusae to enjoy the festival of Dionysus. Be serenaded by bards and poets, cleansed by water rituals, astounded by the acrobatics, but more importantly, eat Greek food, drink Greek wine and be very merry.
