The University acknowledges that its staff are its most valuable asset and the health and wellbeing of staff is extremely important.
A number of policies and guidance documents have been produced to provide advice and support to staff and managers when dealing with issues regarding health and wellbeing.
Special Leave
This policy and procedure includes information on special leave arrangements for;
Compassionate leave
Leave for emergency/domestic situations
Leave to care for dependants
Leave for medical purposes (such as doctors and hospital appointments)
Leave for bone marrow/ organ donation and IVF treatment
Leave for observing religious holidays.
