Managing Unsatisfactory Performance

The University is committed to developing and maintaining a working environment which is conducive to staff effectively undertaking their roles. The University is also committed to ensuring that staff have and/or acquire the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience, as deemed appropriate in their day-to-day activities.

The University will provide assistance to members of staff where their work performance is of an unsatisfactory level, and will seek to agree ways of improving and sustaining a satisfactory level of performance through appropriate support, training and target setting.
