Organisational Change

The requirements of the organisation may necessitate changes, from time to time. The University acknowledges the best way to handle change is through co-operation and partnership. In the event that changes to the structure of departments or sections are required, the University will act in accordance with the Organisational Change Policy, the associated procedure, and all relevant legislation.

Organisational change, sometimes referred to as restructuring, can include changes to the structure and staffing of departments, sections, or faculties. This can involve an increase or reduction of staff numbers (outside of routine recruitment and attrition), a change in line management, changes to job descriptions and changes in the location where work is carried out.
