Contract Instructions

Please refer to the relevant set of instructions below before downloading the relevant contract pack. Contract Packs last updated 01/08/2015.

 

If you would like to appoint a new member of staff:

  • Please print the pack single-sided for administrative purposes.
  • Sections 1 and 2 to be completed by the department.
  • All other sections to be completed by the employee.
  • Department to send the completed contract pack (including copies of eligibility to work documentation) to HR by the 5th of the month in order to ensure the employee can be paid at the end of the month.

Please note that the employee cannot start work until their eligibility to work in the UK has been properly checked. Please ensure that you sign and date section 2 of the contract pack to verify that you’ve seen the original eligibility to work documentation and that the date checked is before the start date of the contract. Please also ensure that, where relevant, the contract end date is on or before the visa expiry date.
