Introduction

We have created this site as a way of bringing together all the the current guidance and information we have to assist people in recruiting, developing and managing their staff. We aim to develop this site further over the next few months including the introduction of a set of staff-related reports which will both support the implementation of policies such as the sickness absence policy but also provide Heads of Academic Schools with information from the HR system to help with the management of fixed-term contracts, probation etc.

We would very much welcome your feedback on the current site and any development you would like us to make here.

Timesheet Paid Staff Contracts

The Timesheet Paid Staff Contract packs have been updated to reflect the 1 August 2011 (backdated) pay award. Please make sure that you use the most recent versions if you are issuing contracts to timesheet paid staff.

New and Updated HR Policies

A number of new and updated policies have been made live on the HR webpages.

Information relating to the use of Fixed Term Contracts and the requirements to undertake Disclosures of Criminal Records is now available and new Dignity at Work and Personal Relationship policies have been introdced.
