Appraisal Training

Learning and Development arranges courses on appraiser training, appraisee briefing and refresher training for appraisers.

Appraiser Training

For staff who have appraisal responsibilities for academic and research staff, academic related staff, clerical/secretarial staff, technical staff.

Please note: It is Kent Policy that all appraisers should have participated in this training before appraising staff.

Appraisee Briefing

Priority will be given to members of the technical and clerical/secretarial staff but applications are welcome from members of the academic/research and academic related staff.

Please note: Appraisers need not attend appraisee briefing as the appraiser training will cover similar ground in more depth.

Refresher Training for Appraisers

For appraisers of academic and research staff, academic related staff, clerical/secretarial staff, technical staff who participated in appraiser training a number of years ago and wish to refresh their skills in the light of their experience as appriasers.

Please note: This half day session is not available to new appraisers who are required to participate in the full day training.
