Britain's most popular soprano celebrates thirty years of performance in the worlds of opera, musicals, television, radio and concerts. Renowned for her unique talents, Lesley has recently starred in “Carousel” and “The Sound of Music” and appeared on television in “Strictly Come Dancing”, “Loose Women” and “Who Do You Think You Are?”

As well as performing with the English National and Welsh National Operas, Lesley has also recorded fourteen solo albums and in her BBC2 series “Lesley Garrett Tonight”  she performed with artists as diverse as
Michael Ball, Renee Fleming, Andrea Bocelli, Bryn Terfel and Lily Savage!

Now, for the first time, in this special performance hosted by BBC Radio presenter Paul Harris, Lesley will reminisce about her varied career and take questions from the audience. She will sing some of her most special songs with piano accompaniment. Hear her behind-the-scenes stories and her fascinating anecdotes as she gives a unique insight into her life on the stage.
