Gulbenkian Education Network
The Gulbenkian Education Network (GEN) provides a point of contact and a special service to groups that have an educational bias and interest in bringing groups to the Gulbenkian Theatre and Cinema. Membership is open to many different types of groups, including schools, colleges, youth groups, special needs organisations and play groups.

• Reduced price tickets on selected shows, films and events, payable by invoice on request.
• 1 group leader goes FREE to shows/screenings with every 5 GEN tickets bought.
Advance information:
• Advanced notice and booking opportunities on forthcoming shows and special GEN programmes.
• Priority booking for theatre or cinema hire for productions/ceremonies/events and showcases.
• Free posters and leaflets for display.
• Regular email updates and bulletin service via email.
Additional access:
• Backstage tours for groups, tailored to your specific interests, availability and budget.
• Exclusive work experience placements by arrangement for GEN members.
• Access to our extensive costume department, including costume hire and wardrobe visits.
Logistical Support:
• Minibus and coach parking facilities .
• Risk assessments for groups visiting the theatre and cinema.
GEN Membership costs just £25 for the whole year.
Membership lasts for one year from the month of joining. Memberships are processed as soon as we receive payment and tickets can be purchased at the reduced rate from this date.
