Lynn Shelton | US | 2011 | 90mins | Emily Blunt, Rosemarie DeWitt, Mark Duplass
This intelligent, heartfelt film is full of talent, from Lynn Shelton's confident direction to the simply lovely performances from stars Emily Blunt, Rosemarie DeWitt and Mark Duplass. Blunt (The Young Victoria) is Iris, who sends her best friend Jack (Mark Duplass) to her family holiday cabin for a restorative break.
Arriving, he meets Iris's sister Hannah (Rosemarie Witt - Rachel Getting Married). She's fresh out of a relationship and when Jack arrives they end up sharing wounds, drinking too much, and taking things too far. In the morning, Iris arrives unexpectedly. Should they tell her about their night together? How would she react? And, what would that mean?
