This captivating documentary, released to delighted critical acclaim, follows the mysterious movements of a Mexican-American singer songwriter, Rodriguez, who released the album Cold Fact in the early 70s before seemingly disappearing. Director Malik Bendjelloul goes on a journey to find out exactly what happened to Rodriguez, whose acclaimed work echoed Bob Dylan with its soulful melodies and prophetic lyrics, in this bewitching film.
