Description

Oscar winners Meryl Streep (The Iron Lady) and Tommy Lee Jones (No Country for Old Men) are fantastic in this hilarious comedy, from the director of The Devil Wears Prada, about a middle-aged husband and wife who attend a week long intensive counselling session - with the therapist played by Steve Carell (The 40 Year Old Virgin) to try and relocate their passion for each other.

 

Great fun, with all three leads demonstrating superb comic timing, it also benefits from Streep’s performance, which as usual adds pathos beyond the humour.
