Jorge (played by Uruguayan film critic Jorge Jellinek) is the reclusive, portly long-time programmer of a small independent cinema in Montevideo, Uruguay; his life entirely consumed by the cinema and its struggle for survival. But once he meets academic regular Paola Venditto, he’s forced to admit that cinema isn’t (quite) everything, as his life begins to open up in new and wonderful ways...
