Description

Based on Julia Leigh's acclaimed novel, The Hunter is a powerful psychological drama telling the story of Martin (Willem Dafoe), a mercenary sent to the Tasmanian wilderness from Europe by a mysterious biotech company on a dramatic hunt for the last Tasmanian Tiger.

 

An elegant, gritty story exploring themes of isolation and survival, with an excellent central performance from Dafoe.
