Description

Director, writer and actor Maïwenn's Polisse (winner of the 2011 Cannes Jury Prize) depicts the fascinating activities of the Child Protection Unit in Paris. 

 

Maïwenn plays Melissa, a photojournalist commissioned to document their work, and sees first-hand how their work aims to save society's most innocent from its worst crimes. We watch as tension builds and the unit is pushed to its limit - and Maïwenn becomes inextricably involved.
