Your student ID card

Card collection

You should collect your KentOne card from the Medway Building reception

The KentOne card is your multifunctional photo ID card, issued to you on completion of registration. The card enables you to:

  • Borrow books from the library
  • Gain entry to examinations
  • Participate in student elections

In addition, the KentOne card can be used as a debit purchasing card. Once you have opened and credited your account, you can use your card to pay for food, drink and other items at many campus outlets including college receptions, the Gulbenkian Café and Kent Union shops.

If you are living in bed and breakfast or bed and bistro accommodation, or have purchased meal deal package, this will all function from your KentOne card. It is possible to have meal deals and money on your card at the same time.

Advantages of the KentOne card

You don’t have to worry about carrying cash with you all the time and card users may be eligible for special promotions.
