Cleaning
The Cleaning Section employs staff to cover three shifts: 7:00 - 11:00am, 6:00 - 10:00pm and 7:00am - 3:00pm. The majority of the cleaners are part-time and service the following buildings:
- Templeman Library
- Grimond Building
- Drama Building
- Registry
- Estates
- Sports Centre and Pavilion
- Medical Centre
- Cornwallis (including the Gulbenkian Theatre)
- KRDC
- KBS
- Telephone Exchange Group
- Tizard Centre
- Computing
The day cleaners are responsible for the collection of litter around the campus, window cleaning and general small removals.
NB: All residential buildings, including the four colleges, are cleaned by Kent Hospitality staff
